Detrex Corporation Announces Departure of Chief Financial Officer

Southfield, Michigan – January 4, 2011 - Detrex Corporation (DTRX.PK), a diversified manufacturer of PVC and CPVC pipe, duct and shapes and specialty chemicals including additives for industrial petroleum products and high purity hydrochloric acid, today announced that its Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, Steve Quinlan, resigned effective December 31, 2010 to accept a position with a new employer.

Mark, President and CEO. “He has helped to guide us through both challenges and opportunities, and leaves the Company with profitable operations.
